Ripe cherries, plum, chocolate and vanilla. Flavors from appassimento grapes in harmony with oak results in the powerful and intense character of Casa Marrone Appassimento. Casa Marrone Appassimento is made of grapes thay you will barely find outside of Italy: 30 % Montepulciano, 20 % Negroamaro, and 20 % Uva di Troia. The remaining 40 % is a field blend of Lambrusco, Sangiovese and Merlot. While Montepulciano adds juicy aromas of red fruit, Negroamaro and Uva di Troia bring power and structure.
