Our Petite Sirah is one large wine with a deep purple color, an indicator of the underlying depth and concentration. The nose is rich with spicy black pepper and a hint of earthy notes. The palate is creamy, dense and moderately tannic, making it a good candidate for extended aging. While it is powerful, there is still a sense of elegance. This wine will pair well with roasted or barbecued duck or venison, and for the more adventurous, chocolate cake.
