Mossback Chardonnay is an elegant example of the fruit harvested on the family-owned vineyards in the heart of the Russian River Valley. To bring that concept home, we cold-ferment the majority of this wine to accentuate the classic characteristics of grapes grown in that cool Sonoma County appellation. Aromas of Pippin apple and mango provide the fanfare for crisp flavors of tropical fruit and Key lime with hints of cinnamon and butter. Serve this lively wine with Waldorf salad, triple-crème cheese or a classic fettuccine alfredo.
