Tasting Notes: The 2018 Trois Noix Noisette Cuvée is our first Napa Valley red blend. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot come together to deliver intensity and poise. Vibrant notes of fresh blackberries, black cherries and black raspberries with hints of dried roses and herbs. Medium-bodied with soft tannins and a pleasingly long finish.
PAIRINGS: A balanced red wine perfect for pairing with grilled portabello mushrooms, pork ragu, or butter chicken.
The name “Trois Noix,” which means “Three Nuts,” is an homage to the next generation of Araujos, my love of France, and the memories I made there as a young woman in the world of wine.
But more than that, “Trois Noix” is about community and collaboration, curiosity and innovation, and using wine as a vector for change.
