The estate : While there are many Quénards in the village of Chignin, the wines of Jean-François and his daughter Anne-Sophie easily stand out for their quality. Of a total of almost 18 hectares, 12 are planted with white grapes (notably Jacquère and Roussanne) and just over 5 with red (Mondeuse, Gamay, Pinot noir, Persan). The whole is in the process of being converted to organic farming and the vinification of the cuvées is very minimalist at the estate in order to let all the terroir express itself. Thus, the yeasts used are indigenous and the sulfur is used very sparingly. Discover this beautiful Savoyard estate which will take you on a journey through their different quality cuvées!
