The wines of the Apremont appellation are produced in the municipalities of Saint-Baldoph, Apremont and Les Marches. Made from the Jacquère grape variety, on clay-limestone soils, this dry, mineral and fruity white wine with citrus aromas is ideal for an aperitif, a lake fish or a Savoyard fondue.
Willy Blanc is a true bon vivant. Ever congenial and hospitable, he is the proprietor of one of the best wine shops in Savoie, which he uses as a forum to advocate for the region’s top growers. He also tends 5 hectares of vines in the Savoie cru of Aprémont, situated below the impressive north face of Mont Granier. Here he works by hand to carefully cultivate the region’s traditional grape varieties, with a special focus on the white grape Jacquére.
