It's intensely ruby red in color, with notes of blackberry, currant and white peach, but with a complex, full body, and well balanced tannins. It has a subtly sweet finish, but make no mistake, this is a dry wine.
This would pair perfectly with all your favorite rich and bold Italian recipes, hearty roasts, or decadent chocolate desserts. It's tannic dryness will cut right through all those unctuous foods. A glass would be best enjoyed on a cool evening by the fireside! But any glass shared with friends is best.
