Wine Shipping (Beer is not shipped. Kegs, in some instances, can be delivered locally for large event orders. For shipping non-alcoholic items, see info at the bottom of the page)
Age Verification: By placing an order you verify that you and order recipients are at least 21 years of age. At the time of delivery the order recipient must sign an age verification receipt stating that they are at least 21 years of age and must present a valid driver’s license, military ID, passport, or State ID for identification.
Depending on product availability, most orders placed Monday through Friday before 2pm EST can be processed within 2 to 3 business days.
One order can be split and shipped to multiple addresses.
Shipping locations and rates: The shipping rate will be based on the weight of the contents. Our shipping containers are sized for 1 bottle, 2 bottles, 3 bottles, 6 bottles and 12 bottles of wine. The rate for each selection will be reflected in your shopping cart and will update as items in the cart are added or removed. Please note that your shipping costs are estimated. We will email or call you with any shipping charge adjustments for your approval. A nominal, flat handling fee (to partially cover the costs of protective packing materials, wine shipping boxes, etc.) is added to each shipment.
We ship by FedEx Ground and UPS Ground where it is legal to do so (at this time, we do not ship outside the U.S. and cannot ship to UTAH, MISSISSIPPI, ALABAMA, MICHIGAN, AND ILLINOIS). Shipments may also be delayed due to weather conditions. We strongly recommend that you use a business address whenever possible when shipping wine, as someone 21 or older must be available to sign for the shipment. Wine cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes. Some of our repeat customers have chosen to set up personal lockers and/or mailboxes at UPS locations for increased convenience.
Wine Shipping is not cheap. Update as of 2022: UPS has nearly doubled the cost to check ID (a necessary component of shipping alcohol) to more than $8 per package as well as other fees for small merchants. Please keep this base cost in mind when estimating the shipping cost. Taking into account the glass bottle and valuable, perishable liquid contents, on average, a bottle of wine weighs 3 to 4lbs. A case of wine weighs approximately 40lbs. Shipping providers charge us based on the weight and distance of every shipment (including the administrative/legal and packaging costs associated with proper delivery of alcohol). Therefore, we will rarely offer very low-cost or free shipping for heavy items shipped long distances. We prefer to be transparent about shipping (rather than hide the costs in higher product prices) so expectations are realistic.
Shipping Non-alcoholic items (ex. Beverage accessories, Food products, Cocktail Mixers, Etc.)
We are able to sell food and non-alcoholic products like cocktail mixers throughout the United States, but often use the same shipping service partners which may still require a valid I.D., physical address (no P.O. boxes), etc.
Our online store platform does not allow customers to choose to have some items shipped/delivered and some items picked up on the same order. Instead, the customer should place two separate orders.
