Join us for this very special event with the lovely wines from Argyle out of Dundee, Oregon. We will discover just exactly what makes sparkling wine so special and unique! This class will lead us through what disgorgement and dosage do for sparkling wine. We will have three separate flights and will have the opportunity to disgorge bottles outside! We will also taste some of the still wines produced by Argyle. Below is a list of some of the wines we will be trying, which will include different levels of dosage.
1. 1st Flight: 2018 Argyle Brut 0g/L, 2018 Argyle Brut 2g/L, 2018 Argyle Brut 8g/L. There will be 2 bottles of the 0g/L that guests will have the opportunity to disgorge outside. Goggles and apron will be provided. This flight we will discuss how sparkling wine is made and how dosage affects the same base wine.
2. 2nd Flight: 2019 Argyle Blanc de Blancs, 2020 Argyle Brut Rose, 2011 Argyle Extended Tirage. This flight we will discuss the different styles of sparkling wine and grapes that are used.
3. 3rd Flight: Argyle WV Chardonnay, Argyle WV Pinot Noir, Argyle Reserve Pinot Noir. This flight we will discuss the Argyle story and the still wines we produce.
