Brunello di Montalcino is Beatesca’s most refined wine, aged to unfold as it develops, acquiring body and power over time. Its vibrant ruby red hues are nuanced with garnet, showing the way to nose notes reminiscent of red berry jam, with hints of plum and sensations of sweet pipe tobacco. The mouth it is full, warm and creamy, with ripe tannins and echoes of plain chocolate. Left to breathe in the glass, it will showcase the exquisite results of five years of aging.
100% Sangiovese Grosso.
The Beatesca Wine Estate rises up on the hillside of Montalcino. It is perhaps one of the smallest businesses in the area. By virtue of the vineyards’ great positioning and exposure, which faces the charming town of Pienza, Betesca wines represent one of the most elegant expressions of Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, with grapes of excellent quality. Furio and Benedetta, owners since 1991, have worked hard to enhance the ancient vineyard, which has been there ages but was at risk of vanishing. They work hard with dedication, passion, and curiosity while maintaining the balance and integrity of this special place.
In collaboration with oenologist Roberto Cipresso, a virtuous viticulture was established. A vineyard that is not only sustainable, but one that has almost no impact on the environment. The name “Beatesca” is dedicated to their daughters Beatrice and Francesca and to the ancient territory in which these poetic wines come from.

If an item does not have the vintage in the title/item name, we do not guarantee a specific vintage unless we explicitly advertise that vintage for sale. Additionally, the pictures of products on our website are for visual/informational purposes and do not necessarily indicate the current vintage(s) or labels available.
While the product images depict the intended product, label designs and packaging may be altered by the producer/manufacturer at any time. We do not guarantee a specific label or bottle design when you order.
The Alcohol By Volume / ABV percentage reported is meant to be a general guideline given fluctuations in production, sometimes ABV is reported as a range (ex. 12.5% - 13.5%), etc.
Wines labeled as "highly rated" are wines that at some point, including prior vintages, received excellent reviews and scores/points from established critics (and we do our best to report the specific vintage reviewed in the product description notes). It is meant to indicate (as a general guide) that the wine producer received accolades for that product for convenient filtering when browsing and searching.
