Kiyoshi #3 - 15.5% (Limited Release Small Batch Blends- Batch #3 of Kiyoshi was brewed with only four ingredients: rice, water, sake yeast and koji. We hope you enjoy this sake with notes of honeydew melon, cucumber and subtle lemon zest. Best served chilled and with good company. Our third batch of Kiyoshi was brewed at the end of spring, with warmer temperatures, different koji and a new rice variety, named Jupiter in the United States. Our rice was grown in Arkansas, milled in Minnesota and brewed in Asheville, North Carolina, before it got bottled and into your hands.

Born in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Ben’s American Sake has crafted a fresh new take on an ancient beverage: Sake! Our sake is unabashedly American. We aim to remove any pretension from the experience of serving and drinking this refined spirit. Our sake is easy to approach, with new fruit infusions, light carbonation, and packaged in friendly, familiar bottles and cans. Nothing could be more American than Ben’s!

Sake is a trending sector of the beverage market in the US. We are one of the first American craft producers of Sake and other domestic brewers are now entering the market. That said, drinking sake outside of sushi restaurants in the US is unusual, particularly in a casual beer/sake garden setting like Ben's. So why did we try sake? A buzz from sake is light and euphoric, it gives you energy—and because it's naturally gluten free, starting with pure milled rice, it’s hangover free too! In addition, as our nation grows more and more health conscious, having a gluten-free alcoholic option addresses a real need American’s are concerned about. Less of a hangover. Gluten free. Great fresh taste. Try it!

Wine Vintages, Bottle Labels, ABV, Ratings, & more

If an item does not have the vintage in the title/item name, we do not guarantee a specific vintage unless we explicitly advertise that vintage for sale. Additionally, the pictures of products on our website are for visual/informational purposes and do not necessarily indicate the current vintage(s) or labels available.

While the product images depict the intended product, label designs and packaging may be altered by the producer/manufacturer at any time. We do not guarantee a specific label or bottle design when you order.

The Alcohol By Volume / ABV percentage reported is meant to be a general guideline given fluctuations in production, sometimes ABV is reported as a range (ex. 12.5% - 13.5%), etc.

Wines labeled as "highly rated" are wines that at some point, including prior vintages, received excellent reviews and scores/points from established critics (and we do our best to report the specific vintage reviewed in the product description notes). It is meant to indicate (as a general guide) that the wine producer received accolades for that product for convenient filtering when browsing and searching.

Dietary Claims, Ingredients, & Other Product Attributes

We make every effort to accurately describe the wines we sell, including any claims made by the wineries regarding the wine's ingredients, additives, or production methods. However, we cannot independently verify the accuracy of these claims. When wineries label their wines as "low sugar," "gluten free," "low sulfites," or any other claim, we rely on the information provided to us and simply label the wines as we are told. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies or omissions in these claims. It is always recommended that customers consult with their healthcare professional if they have any concerns or questions about the ingredients in the wines they are purchasing.
