PROFILE-Beautifully lifted fruit, harvested from a rocky soil profile, leaving the usually fatter Rhone varietals of Grenache Blanc and Roussanne lean and bright. The choice to leave this wine un-oaked ensures that the drinker gets freshness, citrus and a hint of brine thanks to the Mediterranean influence here. There is a bit of spice akin to white pepper and lemon zest. Drinks great with oysters as the label suggests, but could be paired with everything from sushi and spicy Thai to grilled white meats.

Wine Maker-Michele D’Aprix
"Recently, at a lunch table with friends, we tasted this wine — it was bright, fun, and completely refreshing. The wine totally complimented the food and good, honest farmers grew the grapes. The Grenache Blanc and Roussanne in this blend hail from the tippy-toes of the Southwestern Rhône Valley where the attitude and exposition are truly Mediterranean. The juice is fermented in steel with natural yeast and the wine is left unoaked. I love this wine.
They live longer down here for a reason. Many people tell the story of falling in love with a wine they had on vacation, and I know exactly what they’re talking about... it’s the moment you taste it: with great friends, alongside great food and no clock ticking."- Michele
"Caz translates to “crazy in a good way,” a sentiment I have come to embrace as I branch out from Bordeaux, bringing you wines from new terroirs." -Michele

If an item does not have the vintage in the title/item name, we do not guarantee a specific vintage unless we explicitly advertise that vintage for sale. Additionally, the pictures of products on our website are for visual/informational purposes and do not necessarily indicate the current vintage(s) or labels available.
While the product images depict the intended product, label designs and packaging may be altered by the producer/manufacturer at any time. We do not guarantee a specific label or bottle design when you order.
The Alcohol By Volume / ABV percentage reported is meant to be a general guideline given fluctuations in production, sometimes ABV is reported as a range (ex. 12.5% - 13.5%), etc.
Wines labeled as "highly rated" are wines that at some point, including prior vintages, received excellent reviews and scores/points from established critics (and we do our best to report the specific vintage reviewed in the product description notes). It is meant to indicate (as a general guide) that the wine producer received accolades for that product for convenient filtering when browsing and searching.
