On the nose, the wine has aromas of violet, wild berries, chocolate and spices. On the palate, the wine is beautiful and elegant with sandy tannins. Lagrein is one of South Tyrol’s most noble red wines. For centuries, this grape variety has been grown in the warm and gravelly soils of the Bolzano–Gries area that give this wine its strong and expressive character.
